The Suzuki Burgman 650 was a twin, four-stroke scooter produced by Suzuki between 2003 and 2019. It could reach a top speed of 99 mph (160 km/h). Max torque was 45.73 ft/lbs (62.0 Nm) @ 5000 RPM. Claimed horsepower was 54.85 HP (40.9 KW) @ 7000 RPM.

Engine[edit]

The engine was a liquid cooled twin, four-stroke. A 75.5mm bore x 71.3mm stroke result in a displacement of just 638.0 cubic centimeters. Fuel was supplied via a double overhead cams/twin cam (dohc).

Drive[edit]

The bike has a automatic transmission. Power was moderated via the Automatic.

Chassis[edit]

It came with a 120/70-r15 front tire and a 160/60-r14 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via double disc. abs in the front and a single disc in the rear. The front suspension was a telescopic, coil spring, oil damped while the rear was equipped with a swingarm type, coil spring, oil damped. The Burgman 650 was fitted with a 4.0 Gallon (15.14 Liters) fuel tank. The bike weighed just 610.68 pounds (277.0 Kg). The wheelbase was 62.4 inches (1585 mm) long.

HANDLEBAR COVER
After installing the handlebar covers, inspect clearance between the handlebar cover 1 and the front panel 2 /meter panel 3. If the clearance is less than 5 mm (0.2 in), adjust the handlebar position by rotating the handlebar so that the clearance would be more than 5 mm (0.2 in) all around the handlebar cover.
o Measure the clearance between the handlebar cover and the front panel/meter panel before removing the handlebar covers.
o Remove the handlebar covers. (=> 9·8)
o Loosen the handlebar clamp bolts 4.
o Rotate the handlebar according to the clearance measured above.
NOTE:
When rotating the handlebar by 0.5 mm (0.02 in) at the punch mark, the clearance would be varied as follows.
